I'm sure the loss of  30% of New Zealand school students' exposure to
Office is not something Microsoft would take lightly... especially not
for a meager $2.7 million.

I would expect Microsoft to offer some sort of 'rescue package' to the
ministry. Aren't we making a great contribution to NZ education etc
etc.

I also agree that NeoOffice does not look like a robust replacement
candidate... although I suppose most school kids aren't exactly power
users :)
