What is it about the mention of Slackware that generates such
inane comments. Slackware _is_ modern, with such features as
stability, ease of use and fairly low levels of bloat!

The default kernel for Slackware is 2.4.x! I have Slackware
installed on most of my machines, with 2.4.x on the older ones,
and 2.6.x "testing" on my two faster ones. For everyday use, I am
still at a loss to identify one pressing reason why I need 2.6.x.
I'm sure that Pat Volkerding know what is best <g>.

Sorry I can't help with the IPAQ problem, Edward.
