AFAIK there is no further development taking place on NVu. The developer
anounced this on his blog last year. 

He had moved on to using XULRunner to work on Composer for Seamonkey,
but when i last looked he had stopped contributing to that as well. 

Kompozer was meant to be a KDE NVu fork with fixes, but again, when i
last looked there was nothing happening on that front for months either.
I will look again tomorrow as tonight i am to tired to spend hours
chasing web sites.
