I spoke too soon... this was the May offering listed as a HOWTO. The
offering which goes with the DVD is at:

... and it is *identical* in all but layout. (OK - the edit instruction

This one is much much better... and is actually about Feisty.
It is very short on discussion... like why we need to search for all
those codecs... but competent and all the tips will actually work.
I still think a windows user will be left with the feeling that Ubuntu
is essentially broken as every other suggestion is billed as a "fix".
