Regards the old MS-tax thread. It was suggested that VG Computing (AU)
would supply laptops sans MS tax. When it was pointed out that the free
os versions cost up to AU$90 more, I emailed for a clarification. Here's
the reply FWIW:

I wonder if it is possible to buy a laptop without a hard drive?
