Hello

I am trying out Ubuntu via the pcworld iso.

2 problems
 Minor my keyboard does not load until Ubuntu starts loading hence I can't 
choose options,also happens loading as boot no keyboard so can't choose from 
dual boot as soon as windows starts loading keyboard again loads.

Major I am not able to get the cable modem to work.I have copied from 
ipconfig the details to the options in eth0 and also tried eth1 to no avail.

Can any one point me in the right direction for these problems.

I did notice on paradise help that Debian is mentioned?

I have also spent most of last night searching for answers to no avail :(
