What precipitated the move? It could have been malware traced back to
free software.
This list membership hardly needs to be informed of your self-righteous
indignation as the memo does not prevent GPL software.
It is a brave or stupid bloke that on an IT mailing list calls someone
"the chief IT moron". I have no doubt you are outnumbered by chief IT
morons here of which i am not one.
