Yeah, true, except the next one will likely have some different chipsets so 
some of the hardware daemons in my current Debian installation (like audio, 
video, and stuff I can't call to mind at the moment) will likely be the wrong 
ones.    Ah well, time to learn some more about Linux admin...   worst case 
is, I get to reinstall Debian (again....)

Could be worse, I might have been running Windoze :)
