It is definitely in Ubuntu, IIRC universe. However, go to the wine downloads
page:
http://www.winehq.com/site/download-deb
and use that instead. That way, it stays up to date. New releases of Wine are
often better to have than new releases of other things, as it can mean the
difference between something working and it not working.
(one day I need to try to make it work on 64-bit)
