I don't think Primary School students should be dealing with Programming 
at all.

Basic English, Maths and Spelling are far too lacking in students these 
days - and I would think a grasp of all three are more important!

Basic programming (think LOGO) was as much as I saw until High School, at 
which point some (very) basic Basic was covered (at 6th form!)

Whilst thats not necessarily ideal, I think Primary School is too soon. 
The basics need to be covered off properly first, I think.


(Maybe i'm biased by the low decile-level of my primary school...)
