[nzlug] dns woes...

I use OpenDNS, as I change networks more about as often as I eat hot
dinners. 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222 (sometimes the IP addresses
can be picky to find on the website). It's nice to get consistent (and
often quicker than local ISPs) resolutions no matter where you are in
the world.
The only downside is that it redirects you to their custom search page
whenever it cant find a page, so sometimes you'll need to clear your
local dns and browswer cache or something to get it back to "try and
find this website" mode - especially when you're transferring domains to
new servers and whatnot. Otherwise, its pretty solid.
I don't know what the purpose of signing up for the service is, but I
have an account there. I think it's really only useful if you manage a
network (or something), and you can use it to filter out certain
websites, I guess...
