The two I have good luck with are the Cisco Aironet and anything that uses
prism2, but the best over using a laptop in conjunction with a WRT54G/S/L
type router with one of the open firmwares like dd-wrt or open-wrt

Subject: [nzlug] AuckLUG wireless question

Last night at the AuckLUG presentation (which btw was very interesting),
someone mentioned a particular 802.11 chipset that was very well suited
for Linux and for wireless testing, can someone please remind me what
the chipset was, and if they have recently purchased a pcmcia card / usb
device that contains this chipset, which make/model?

Thanks,
Nick
