I have to disagree there. I've always found HP to have good Linux
support, while Epson foisted Winprinters like the 710C on us which took
ages to reverse engineer thanks to a total lack of specifications.
The HP side suffers from the sheer bloody variety of drivers available,
if anything. If you have no luck with one, try another.
