I too was referring to support as in "we acknowledge linux, and that its
users want to use our printers. We'll write open source software but not
necessarily answer your questions about it. But you can play with the
source because we understand thats how the linux community works"
I believe that is sufficient "support" to in turn use their products and
"support" them. It is also a hell of a lot better than you get from many
other printer vendors.
I have never found _any_ helpdesk to be particularly helpful on technical
stuff, so I don't miss it from HP.
