I fully agree. Both of the HP printers I have setup have been far easier in
Linux than they were in Windows.
One was a simple old inkjet and the other is a wireless MFC inkjet. With hplip
everything seems to just work, and work well.
I've been really pleased with HP printers, and the fact that they support open
projects for their hardware makes me recommend them whenever anyone asks
about printers.
