[nzlug] eth0 down after reboot

I am able to get eth0 up by issuing the folowing
commands as root  (found by googling)

ifdown eth0
dhclient eth0

The panel icon show eth0 up and broadband is available.

Perhaps there is some startup place these commands
could be placed to fix this problem - which I may find by
further googling which will be quicker with broadband up.
