Why do I fear that we are about to have a slew of "Ubuntu makes wine taste
better than Fedora" postings?

The methodology here is flawed. You knew which bottle was which so your
perceptions are shaped by your expectations of a/no difference. What you
need is a blind tasting.
Next time you want to conduct this experiment, the Clement institute of
wine (me) might be willing to make someone available to drink your red
wine & advise which tastes better.
We are also willing conduct tests on single malt whisky at great risk to
our brain & liver.

OK, so I'm not the man you thought I was ... Is it my fault you're such a
lousy judge of character?
