Because the pipe to the central headoffice (where the backup server 
would probably sit) is not fat enough to handle all uploads from all 
branches.

I didn't think of using a commercial service for this before.

Sounds good. Now the question turns into "which commercial online backup 
provider do you recommend?" Are there any in NZ?
