On the contrary, it is extremely usable but is designed to link with
other audio apps so uses Jack instead of talking directly to ALSA. It is
really a recording and mixing app rather than for simple soundfile
editing, and is a Linux (and OSX) equivalent to "Professional" digital
recording software for windows and Mac such as ProTools, Cubase, and Logic.
