Yes - you can return the copy of Windows XP that comes supplied,  
however I believe that they took the clause out of the license  
agreement about getting money back ...

<rant> try buying some hardware and you have to agree to the  
'supplied license agreement' - which you cannot read until after  
you've agreed to the license, as it's supplied in soft form on the  
hardware </rant>
