Now, you'd say "has it stopped spam?" in a disbelieving way.  But it's
cut down on my spam so much that I'm not going back to no RBLs.
However, I do accept mail from RBL'd hosts which are "near" the MX or A
of the envelope from domain, which solves most of the
small-business/geek on cable/DSL problem.

In my experience, people who complain that all RBLs etc are evil don't
get enough spam.  But employing a few has so dramatically reduced the
amount of spam that ends up in my inbox that I'm much less hurried at
mentally classifying it.  And when I'm confronted with a large quantity
of spam to classify in a hurry, my mental false positive rate is higher
than spamassassin's.
