This also means it's unlikely to get into Edgy (the current release), as
the kernel in Edgy is based on 2.6.17.

That said, Ubuntu is allowed to backport things from more recent
kernels, and drivers are often easily backported. It may be worth filing
a bug request to get the driver added.
