Hopefully I won't actually need the thing until January. I'm very averse
to dicking with the kernel on Ubuntu because of unforseen effects on
crappy binary-only drivers like the Nvidia one that drives my nice
dual-screen desktop.
We'll see how long it takes 2.6.19 to get to Dapper...

I was chatting with my mate Osama the other day about this. He said he'd
rather bomb a mosque or spend a week in Guantanamo Bay with guards from
Abu Ghraib than report false positives to the CIA, FBI or others. But
then, he heard about what they do with Anthrax and Sarin gas in subways,
so what does he know? He's got a great sense of humour, doesn't take
himself too seriously (which is good with a name like his).
