The saved session is definitely a contributing factor. firestarter dose  
open the events and configuration screen on start and you can toggle it  
 from a panel icon with out a password. (kdesu is not saving any passwords  
even for 2 seconds) It is definitely kdesu that is asking for the password  
for kwallet which also doesn't work at all either. I wonder if this is  
related. I use kuroo every time I'm on the pc I haven't closed it yet so  
I'd be keen to find a way to have kdesu save passwords when it says it  
will, kwallet actually work and run as root apps start on boot with out  
password confirmation.

I've googled for Africa and posted this on a couple of forums and no luck  
as yet...
