[nzlug] Getting SMS messages out of a phone

I'm not sure about any of the newer Sony Ericsson Phones, but my T610 
does some basic stuff, but not others.  Particularly, I can't sync 
calendar events, or have anything to do with SMS's (actually, to be 
honest I can't even make it work with the proper software under Windows) 
- so I probably wouldn't bother looking at one of their phones (which is 
a shame, because in every other way the Sony's seem to beat the Nokia's 
hands down).
