Yes I have, many times now (a behaviour I got from using Windows I guess)

dmesg gave me lots of messages, some interesting ones:

tulip_stop_rxtx() failed
ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): eth0: link is not ready
ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): eth0: link becomes ready
eth0: no IPv6 routers present

The last one might be the problem? It seems to be looking for IPv6 router?
