I would think that it would be a good idea for each group to decide what
kind of even they want to run, and what they would benefit from: I will
definitely be co-ordinating whatever support from NZOSS that I can
muster, including hopefully some T-shirts and printing that will apply
to groups, no matter what kind of event they are running. Each group
should work to their strengths - NZOSS isn't about deciding what sort of
event you should run, but if you need support or advice, there will be
plenty of people who have been involved in similar events in the past
who can give you some advice.
> Don't SFD ship to you The Open CD for distribution?
I believe there have been releases of TheOpenCD for SFD in the past, and
there may be some CDs sent as giveaways, but I assume they will be
Ubuntu CDs, as they're really the only people who have demonstrated the
facility for large scale giveaway.

Not sure what exactly groups will get. (I'll take whatever they give for
Hamilton!)
However, Pia writes on the SFD team co-ordinators list:
We are looking to produce extra t-shirts at any rate, and there will be
extra ones for sale soon. We have a website to sell the shirts from
that has
been set up for us. We'll take it live then so you can easily buy extra
tshirts for all your volunteers.
I will keep everyone informed as to what is available. I still don't see
an Auckland or Dunedin team planned on the SFD page!
