How about getting out and taking it to "the people"? What I mean is 
getting T Shirts made up (tasteful) and getting permission to go into 
shopping malls etc, and give out flyers on Open Source and Free 
Software? Perhaps sell (at cost) CD's of Firefox and OpenOffice, and 
perhaps a LiveCD.

Afterward we can get together and have a BBQ at some victims house.

Installfests centre more around helping people who have already made the 
decision to use Linux. Software Freedom Day should be more about 
spreading the word to those who havn't heard the good news.
