I found my way to the maintenance mode from GRUB menu. Then I typed
'vigr' and this horrible looking (supposedly) editor showed up ... who
knows how to operate it, so I gave up and used nano instead and edit
/etc/group, added my username to adm and root group but still no luck
:-\ I must have missed something ... I searched around for answers in
google but nothing really helped
