[nzlug] Slow uploads to Trademe

Thanks for the suggestion.   However I dusted off my old Debian Woody 
installation and it uploads just fine.   

So it looks like it's something I've done to my Debian Sarge setup, I have no 
clue what.   _Both_ my Debian Sarge setups.   Roughly simultaneously.   On 
two different computers.    Ummm.....

I'll be doing some snooping around my pppd setup, I think.
