I've had no problem using a DSE (Dick Smith) PCMCIA card with my Dell 
Latitude C600 with Ubuntu (in fact I've not had any problems with any 
distros - PCMCIA/Latutide).

I'm not using it at present (I'm on broadband) so I'll lend it to you to 
see if it does the business for you. The same for your friend Hannah; 
tel me on 902 1082.

(I'm working Saturday from 3pm and possibly Sunday morning).
