On the topic of ubuntu, windows rc2 install got rid of my grub boot manager. I've forgotten the command I used to restore it after rc1, it's 'grub' to the menu, then wait, then 'install something hda0,1 /abc'. Can anyone can let me know what the real command is? I don't want to wait several hours for the dapper cd to boot when I don't know the command and there's little hope of guessing. thanks -daniel On 11/1/06, Peter Dinnan <pral at paradise.net.nz> wrote: > > Any Ubuntu Dapper Drake 6.06 users wanting to upgrade to the just > released Edgy Eft 6.10 the command is; > > gksu "update-manager -c" > > Your Update Manager will then launch with the 6.10 upgrade added. > > Myself, I'm gonna wait ...bugs and all :-) > > Cheers, > Peter > > > _______________________________________________ > KLUG mailing list > KLUG at linux.net.nz > http://www.linux.net.nz/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/klug >
