You may wish to select the "Unsupported softare" respository in sources list in Xandros Networks. There are also *.deb files available for the latest release of gtk-gnutella, but you need to upgrade to the latest version of libc6.....and that requires following a short but simple procedure documented in the Xandros support forums. Limewire have apparently succombed to the DRM legal threats.....while gtk-gnutella remains an open and unrestricted gnutella P2P client. > Linux is completly foreign to me. > > Someone once kindly offered to pay me a visit to help me install linux, > but as my pc has had problems, all my emails got lost. > > > I live in Fairfield, lower hutt and cannot make it to any meetings as i > do not have transport. > > If anyone has a spare half-hour at some stage, please let me know. > > I really only want to use the linux notebook for all-things internet, > and use my Sony Vaio for everything else at this stage. > > Also wanna network them together through my Broadband router. > > Dean > 04 567-6005 > 027 438-0657 I see you're in the Hutt Valley.
