Sorry to hear that, Lance. I'm off on Thursday and would have been able to attend a meeting. 

Does anyone in Raumati / Paraparaumu want to offer / investigate an alternative venue for this week or next? 

The regaulr meeting night was based on a regular venue. If we find ourselves with an irregular venue, we can content ourselves with some other venue - as and when we muster enough interest and energy to locate / provide one. 

Any takers? I'd offer my place in Foxton......but I'm sure no one would want to attend. 

Failing that, the Palmerston North LUG have a meeting on the same night at the same time as KLUG....and some (or one) might be interested in attending a PLUG meeting. Yes...it would be an hours drive.....but then that's what I usually do to attend KLUG meetings. :-)
