Off topic here.
still cant partition my notebook hdd to install linux and xp.
If I choose a full linux install, if things go wrong, can I reinstall xp?
I have a compaq which partitions off a part of the hdd for recovery use, I think.
Cheers

Subject: [klug] Lunar Linux - source-based distro
Had a go at installing this distro.
Didn't get far. Screen goes to black after intial text-based options
screen (Options F1 to F4 for Install, Modules, Safe and memtest86)
Defaults fail.
Explicitly choosing from the list of offered VESA modes fails.
"scan" fails to find a valid video mode.
Went to the Lunar Linux web site. Attempted to log a report with their
Bug Tracker. All attempts failed; "application error #1303" and "invalid
field data'........
So if you want to play with this distro - you've been WARNED.
:-)
