The resparking of KLUG interest is a great idea. I would be very keen to
see a Kapiti situated LUG with an emphasis on being newbie-friendly.
Thanks for your kind words of acknowledgement.

There is a new twist here. While I'd recently announced at KLUG that the
TKJA school is now more positive at the idea of hosting KLUG meetings
(e.g. they now recognised that the computer suite had actually benefited
from the expertise of KLUG members), the owner of the buildings has
recently decided to sell the property and we as a school are suddenly
looking at moving to other premises. The new location for TKJA has not
yet been decided. We will not need to move until next year, though will
most likely relocate over the Christmas period.

The School Principal is a forward thinker, so I am in hope that the new
location will have a spacious computer room, although nothing is secure
at this point except that we will be moving somewhere close to the
Kapiti area. I imagine we would be happy to provide an ongoing venue for
KLUG although I have no idea on specifically what we will have to offer.

I am okay to change meeting nights from 1st Thursdays. I am involved in
Physical Exercise on Mondays until about 6.00pm and staff meetings are
presently held on Tuesdays, so those two days are not so good for me.

Keep smiling. :-)
Lance.
