Wireless a possibility?

I'm just thinking "aloud" .. I don't know that your team are used to. I work 100% from home for EDS/Telecom .. And use Solaris most of the time. I have an office downstairs that has wired and wireless networks .. Which may help if you can't find a venue. The only wee prob is .. I've got a family upstairs .. So have to ensure times etc. are pretty consistent.

Anyway .. Take care,

Marty

Meetings are typically 4-5 to 8 people.....at most.

Not everyone attends every meeting.

If possible, an ADSL or cable connection available via an ethernet hub/switch is good. *Max* data use in an evening (if software is downloaded or updated) might be 300MBs.....and a gold coin "koha" to cover the cost to the provider/host is acceptable and usually done (unless we get excited and forget).

Access to water for tea / coffee would be nice. Toilets are good.

Each attending person should try to bring some sort of biscuit or cookie
- preferably home made, but store-bough chocoalte is acceptable. The host gets to keep any leftovers. :-)

A power point or two for plugging in systems people might bring along would be good. A table to put things on would be good....though the floor is an acceptable alternative.

Just common sense stuff.

:-)

Steve
