As it turns out, SuSE 9.2 and 9.3 didn't ...er bother to package K3b setup with the distro's. So it was just a matter of downloading a newer version :-) BTW Just in case there's any SuSE newbies on the list - as I've found out, never ever use Apt, Yum, Smart or any of the 3rd party package managers with SuSE as updating a package could mean newer version dependants and that will screw up other installed apps using the same dependants. From what I've read in the SuSE forums/posts etc SuSE packages are quite dependant on each other, more so than other distro's. Instead add 3rd party repositories to YaST's 'change source of installation' so you can update through YaST. That way you'll be warned of any dependancy version conflict.
