[klug] mounting Linux LVM format

In decideing to upgrade the school computers to Fedora Core 4 (was FC2)
I installed one BASE system and performed (roughly) the updates. Then I
did minimum install to other computers which will serve as clones,
except perhaps for IP tables etc in the network set up.

I do a minimum install on the computers because that way I know the
partition tables have been written correctly on each drive regardless of
physical size etc. Next step is to mount them alongside the BASE install
drive in order to drag the files accross (effectively cloning them).

Here's the problem: The drives won't mount!

It turns out they are in some weird "Linux LVM" format that just doesn't
seem to want to mount using a sysrecovery CD (or Knoppix or whatever).
Looks very much like the Journaling dependant systems I'm used to
hearing about with XP.

Anyone know how to mount these drives? I'm running out of time for
setting up the school network along with this new OS install.

Lance.
