It's a new install of Fedora Core 4 on all clients, undecided whether to settle on another FC4 (to keep them the same) or as suggested Clark Connect (but a school setup surely can't use the "home" edition?). ...Have printed out a couple of versions of the NIS - LDP "howto". Unsuire of all the ins and outs at this stage and may want help on how I go abnout making the /home dirs reallocated, and also on setting up a couple of common shared directories for all users as well. Anyone think they would be able to help out if / where I get stuck? Oh well - here goes... about to run lastminute /yum/up2date/synaptic etc and then get to base system cloning. Hope it works...
