[klug] Dial up connection

Hi all,

Someone a while ago mentioned a few details on getting Suse working with
a dial up connection, I have both a Hardware Dynalink modem and a
Dynalink Winmodem to use, both are detected by Suse and I can edit the
properties.

The Hardware modem is detected and assigned to ttys0 and the winmodem is
assigned to ttyLT0.

After I configure the modem in Yast along with the dial up properties of
Clear Net I go to the kppp settings and it asks me to setup the
connection in there, I follow the instructions provided but when I get
the part to configure the modem and test it I get the error "unable to
create modem lock file".

Anyone able to help, the searches I did through Google didn't bring up
anything obvious?

Cheers

Nathan
