Hi Mark 
 
I installed a copy of Mandrake a while ago and am familiarising myself 
with the nuts and bolts of Linux.  I use a boot disk.  Have also run a 
version of Knoppix from CD.  Am checking hardware detection and  
would like to set up an Internet connection. 
Most of my experience has been with DOS, Windows, and OS/2 which 
run on two networked machines.  I've accumulated a lot of legacy 
programs over the years along with a considerable amount of data.   
Because of this Linux will remain a secondary interest meantime.
