I've now looked at Clark Connect. It appears to be a separate router / firewall distro. Already we are running FC and I assume applying Clark Connect would mean adding a new box as the main internet server. This may mean complications to the current shared /home dir setup... networking along these lines is where I tend to lack experience. At this point what I'm looking for is a nework filter along the lines of "Netnanny" to police children from accessing porn sites etc before it happens. It took a lot of tweaking around before Garth managed to get the current network cooperating in the shared /home sense. Would Clark Connect mean I have to uninstall the current setup and start all over? Seems like a lot of reinventing the wheel at this point, as the current applications, groups etc required for our school setup are currently up and running on FC. Lancer.
