Yeah, I'm a starter for Wednesday 17th.

Nathan, I have what I think is a hardware problem with my Dell notebook
Latitude c600 - In win2k (Dell oem supplied discs) the mouse freezes
momentarily quite often then aferwards the mouse wheel won't scroll
until I reboot the computer. In Linux (Mandriva, FC3/4, Ubuntu and
Knoppex) I get freezes and window after window open randomly + the task
bar slides about all over the place.

I guess it may be possible the (mouse) pins in the computer are wearing
out. Also, I've never been able to use any other mouse other than the
supplied Dell one ...they just dont work (even after installing the
drivers) + I've always had problems with the Synaptics touch pad (I
uninstalled the drivers about three years ago)

Any thoughts? - of course this is a paying job for you.

Thanks,
Peter
