I have a 500 Mhz pIII that has outlived 3 HDD's, and at work we run
IPCop on a K6, which was back up within two hours once we found a
suitable replacement HDD (30 minutes of software install and configure).
HDD Death happens more than you thinks especially in the bad old days
when they were trying to double the size every year (2000 - 2004).
