Sounds like shadow copy software - shadow copying refers to making a
backup of data while it is online. Traditionally they have had to
confiscate the computer, remove the hard drives and run them through
on offline HDD clone machine - although I thought that they had
portable kit to do that - maybe not in NZ though.
