The above crack would apply only to those that know how to protect their
windows boxes.

Because with access to a normal home users windows computer running as
administrator, almost anyone can access any users saved files passworded
or not, or hack the box beyond repair. 

Many programs have issues on windows if you are not running as an
administrator full time (even antivirus programs).
