Citi Brings Open Source to Mobile Banking

Citibank announced today that it will make its mobile banking 
platform compatible with Google's open-source,
mobile device operating system, called Android.

Mobile Money Ventures (MMV), the joint venture between Citi and South 
Korea's SK Telecom, will develop
the open-source application - essentially opening the doors for 
people to modify and customize the platform to
their wants and needs.
