Yeah thats the thing, I dont think its produced by Google?
Ever thought of a project Google has done thats been on another
non-google.com or localised google domain?

I think this is done for Google users, Google does offer good services
on its website.
I have a feeling its produced by Google users who want to develop a
version thats entirely based around using google services when required.

Everex produced VIA C3 1GHz systems - small size midicase, no cd/dvd
drive, with usb and sound and such.
The operating system they used when they sold the sytems via Wal-Mart
and Best Buys in America and in other stores in Europe, the operating
system they used was a recently unknown operating system called gOS.
Linux based, easy to use, designed for novice users who don't know much.

They sold like hot cakes, make the sales figures of the EeePCs (which
have been sold out clean in certian countries and almost happened here)
look like nothing for atleast the first couple of months. I heard
stories of Everex distributing 1,000 systems on back order but needed to
triple production for a couple of months to even fill the backorders.
They were popular because they did cost like a couple of hundred and
designed for a good basic computer for online use.

Good little machine, I wouldn't mind having one of them.
