What: Hawkes Bay LUG Meeting/Xmas do
When: Wed 3rd Dec 2008 from 7pm till 9pm
Where: Fine Furniture/Taradale Upholstery
169 Gloucester St, Taradale (rear building)

Bring along dinner, snacks, drinks. Please note that I would like to
finish by 9pm this time.

Please feel free to come along and meet us, talk about Linux, install
Linux, debug problems etc.

If you want to bring a box, please bring some extension cables, a 4 way
board etc. and a patch cable (if you want internet/network). Extra
switches and cat5 are always a bonus. We have monitors and
keyboards/rodents spare, as well as jug cords.

Hi All

I own a website which I used to update using Windows Commander.  I had a 
hard drive failure and after I installed everything again and used 
Windows Commander for the first time I "lost" one of the pages!  I'm 
wondering if there's any guru out there who might come over and fix it 
up for me?  Happy to pay petrol and time money.

Hi there fellow LUGers,

I will be away for the beginning of January so will be unable to host
the regular meeting. If anyone is keen to host one please do so, just
let the list know time and place.

Otherwise, I am happy to postpone it till mid-January so you don't
have to wait too long to get all your nifty toys you got for xmas
working with linux :)

Or, alternatively, leave it to February to see if you've
broken the toys, by then.

If anyone is given an unwanted WAP with router jack
points, I'm looking for one. Even more so if it has some
USB jack points on it.
